Question about Lexmark X5495 Printer
My 4 in 1 says it does not have paper when it does. Says to load paper and push select, but this does nothing. When it is asked to print, whether by incoming fax, making a copy or from the computer, it makes a high pitched whine. I have turned it off, re-booted the computer, cleaned everything I can reach, checked for paper stuck anywhere, etc but to no avail. It will even squeak when I turn the printer back on, but before I ask it to print again.
Now take a size 10 Envelope fold it so that it should become like a thin long strip........ Now Insert that Envelope on the left side corner of the Printer and move it from right to left and left to right as fast as u can for about 10 times.......... Now Insert the Ordinary Papers onto the Printer and insert both the catridges and Turn on the Printer......Now try to Print it should work........

Tips for a great answer:
cause of paper jams is debris/foreign objects that accidentally fell into the
paper feed area. Please follow steps below to fix the problem:
the sheets of paper from the feeder.
2. Grab a
flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.
you're willing and physically able, you may also turn the printer over. Any
debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.
feeder is clear, place the printer back on the table, open the printer cover
and remove the cartridges.
the cartridge area for any obstructions/debris in the cartridge carrier's path
or the paper path.
cartridge area is clear, close the cover.
your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is
plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.
the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges and load some paper. Try to print
a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.
