How to install blackberry connect - HP iPAQ H4150 Pocket PC

    I've installed blackberryconnect on my IPAQ912c Business Messenger. Installation run smoothly but it could not connect to the network. At status tab, it stated: PIN: pending
    Any idea or solution regarding this issue/problem?

Hi Yes you can please go to blackberry.com and you can download latest version Blackberry Desktop Manager. and then you can install the software. To install the Universal Serial Bus (USB) drivers without installing the BlackBerry Desktop Software, install only the BlackBerry Device Manager (which was called BlackBerry Handheld Manager in versions prior to 4.1). When you install the BlackBerry Device Manager, you can charge the device and transfer data through the USB connection.
1) Start the installation of the BlackBerry Desktop Software.
2) In the Install Shield Wizard, when you are prompted to choose Typical or Custom installation, choose Custom and click Next.
3) On the Custom Setup screen, click the arrow next to the BlackBerry Desktop Manager option and select This feature will not be available.
4) Click Next and complete the installation.

How i connect my blackberry to my computer


Hi, install desktop manager latest version, then you can connect blackberry pearl using usb cable. If you dont have desktop manager software cd, you can downalod it from blackberry.com. I hope this information will be helpfull.

Hi,

Cause 1 If this error occurs while using the application loader tool to install BlackBerry Device Software, existing applications on the BlackBerry smartphone are erased, and new applications are not loaded.
You need to complete the following steps:
  1. Verify that you have the BlackBerry Device Software installed on your computer. Before you use Application Loader to install software on your BlackBerry wireless device, verify that the necessary device software is installed on your personal computer.
    To verify what device software is installed on your computer
    1. In Desktop Manager, click Help>About Desktop Manager.
    2. Click the Device Software tab.
    The Device Software tab lists the device system software installed on your computer. If the tab is blank, then no device software exists.
  2. If your BlackBerry smartphone is connected to a laptop computer in a docking station, disconnect the laptop computer from the docking station and connect the BlackBerry smartphone directly to the laptop computer.
  3. If a third-party program, such as a virus scanner, is using the same communications port (COM port) as BlackBerry® Desktop Manager, close the third-party program to free the COM port for use.
  4. If you are using a USB adapter to connect your BlackBerry smartphone to a serial port on your computer, temporarily connect your BlackBerry smartphone to a computer with a USB port.
  5. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager and double-click the Application Loader icon.

Blackberry 8100


error 507 means that the operating system on the handheld is missing.

1) Download the latest version of the handheld os from your carrier's web site
2) Execute the downloaded file
3) Locate and delete VENDOR.XML from your PC's C: drive
4) Connect the BB and start Desktop Manager

It should reload now.

Here is the procedure to resolve:
 
Step #1
Before starting make sure that BlackBerry Desktop Software is installed on the computer.
 
Step#2
Make sure that you have installed updated device software installed in your PC. Check this link to get update device software from carrier OS download site.
 
Step#3

Users can perform a full or selective backup of the data using the Backup and Restore tool in BlackBerry Desktop Manager by completing the following steps:
  1. Connect the BlackBerry device to the computer running BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
  2. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
  3. Double-click Backup and Restore.
  4. Select Backup to perform a full backup or select Advanced to perform a backup of specific databases.
  5. Choose a location to save the backup file, then click Save.
Step#4
To perform a clean install of the BlackBerry Device Software, perform the following steps:
  1. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer and open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
  2. Double-click the Application Loader icon.
  3. Click Next to start the installation process.
