Clothes dryers usually have one of three issues when they fail to heat.
Taking a good electrical meter ( with ohms readings), check first the heating element.
If it checks good, then try all of the thermostats and the fuse. (There may be as many as 5 thermostats.)
You will need to unplug the wires off of each of these items that you are testing before you test them.

In this video you'll learn why your dryer might not be starting. ... If it makes noise but won't start trying spinning the drum empty ten times then close door and try it. ... I changed the door switch and still gives code AU. any suggestions .... thermal fuse everything seems good except my dryer won't come on!!!.
Do NOT up amps on fuse, needs only 30 amp fuse, more than that risk of fire. I would replace power cord with new one hardware stores carry them. If old cord plug pronges are burnt, or discolored, should be bright color of brass not dark. Then check terminal block in back for same condition.
Check the home’s circuit breaker and fuses. Electric dryer use 2 household Fuses or a circuit breakers, Replace the Fuses or reset the circuit breaker.
Select a heat setting other than Air Fluff.
Clean the lint filter and exhaust duct.
Another common cause of a dryer failing to heat is a faulty element (Heating Element). You'll need to replace it.
you may need to replace both thermal fuses and or the heating element itself but check to make sure you have the proper temp rating for the thermal fuses
