Try resyncing your wii mote. take off your battery cover on the wiimote and you'll see a sync button push it! the lights should illuminate on the wiimote letting u know u are player 1. if this works and your still having trouble.... Put your wiisensor bar perfectly center on the top of your tv and check the calibration of the sensor bar in the wii settings menu on your wii

How to recieve internet connection

Hi. Here are the procedures on how you conect Wii to the internet

  • 1 Turn on your Nintendo Wii by plugging it into a power source and pressing the power button.
  • 2 Press the "A" button on your Wii controller to continue from the warning screen.
  • 3 Select "Wii" button in the left hand corner of the main menu, by using your Wii remote to move the hand shaped cursor over the "Wii" button and pressing the "A" button on the controller to select the Wii options.
  • 4 Click the "Wii Settings" box on the right.
  • 5 Select the left arrow to scroll over to more options. Then select "Internet" from the list and "Connection Settings."
  • 6 Choose an open connection by selecting the "Connection 3: None" option, then the "Wireless Connection" option, and the "Search for an Access Point Option."
  • 7 Choose the access point you want to use from the list that will be displayed. Save the settings by clicking "OK." Then click "OK" to start a connection test. When the test is complete you are connected.

Can't get my second remote to activate, and so only one player mode works.

    Hi,

It seems your second remote has malfunctioned. There are 2 options at this point.

1.) Replace the batteries and see what happens.

2.) Send it in for a replacement controller (if under warranty)

    I hope I helped!

take a look at the link it will tell you how

    http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/systemSettings.jsp

also if you are to far away from the sensor it will jump.

Cant get pass the "press A button" screen

Turn off for a moment, try again, reconnect your controller.

Since its brand new, you can get it replaced if that doesn't work, dont waste your energy on it, just get another one, free replacement / warraty. Im sure.

    My wii remote

    @ Slivic22
Some games does not use Sensor Bar pointing because they play with motion/accelerometer only. After you select the number of sets on Wii Sports Tennis, there is no Sensor Bar pointing except for Pause menu. That's because you Swing the remote like a racket.

    Wii freezing up

    Hi Ashley,

It sounds like the accelerometer in your Wii Remote is not working properly.

The "point-and-click" stuff like the Wii Menu use the WIi Remote's camera (which is behind the dark part on the front of the Wii Remote). The motion-sensing for swinging, tilting and other motion uses the accelerometer in the Wii Remote.

Wrap your Wii Remote in a towel and give it a whack against your knee (not so hard as to injure your knee) - sometimes the accelerometer part gets "stuck" and needs to be jarred out of position.

If that still doesn't work, then go to Nintendo.com, click Support, and go to the Wii Troubleshooting section for more options.
    http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/ts/wiiremote.jsp

Also, you don't have to use the same remote as #1. The first remote that is activated will become #1.

You can also push the Home button on the Wii Remote, then point to the bottom (where the battery levels are shown), press A, then click on Reconnect. It will tell you to press the 1 and 2 buttons on each remote in the order you want them to appear. Press the 1 and 2 buttons on the remote you want to be #1, wait for the remote to sync (the Wii will make a happy nosie), then do the same for the remote you want to be #2, etc.

    Trying to install wii

I love the way this works - if everything is plugged in properly, the remote control will be detected by the sensor and you should see an arrow on the screen that you can move by physically moving the remote. Use this to point the arrow to "English", then click "A", then move it again to "confirm" (...or is it "OK"?).
