Give a good healthy "tap" to the Garmin Logo on the front of the case. Garmin battery connections are renowned for their crappiness!

normally RCA"S are common with this problem. Some of them have a knob in the back the adjust the brightness. This will sometime get rid of the lines. I did it to my RCA and it worked like a charm.

The touch screen on Garmin Nuvi 660 is not working at all. It turns on, but when I touch the screeen, nothing happens. Could it be the battery. It was low, so I charged it for 45minutes, then the gps screen dimmed and turned off after just 10-15 minutes of "messing with it"

Don't know why it happens, but mine did the same thing. There's a reset button on the back, underneath where you lift up the antenna. Unplug the unit from the power source, push the reset button, reconnect to a power source and it should work fine; mine did. Good luck. Got this info from my Garmin owner's manual.
