Problem installing itunes from apple website to pc
I have tried to install the program many times... each time it looks like it installs and quick time plus the other things that get installed with it are there but itunes is not. I have uninstalled it 5 different time using the program uninstall and a second clean up. I have gone back to check and make sure everything visible is gone. The registry still has apple stuff listed.... I have been afraid of messing with the registry. Anyone have any ideas. I inherited a nice 30G ipod and am sad to not be able to use it. My computer is a Dell running xp sp3. I tried all the solutions from Geekinator to no avail. Help!

Remove itunes from add or remove programs, do a search for itunes on your harddrive and delete all folders with itunes or apple on it. there are probably some files in documents and settings folder that need to be removed.
