Do the fuses blow no matter what volume you are sending?

Polk sub DSW2000 fuse blows each time you switch it on.... How do i fix it or any circuit drawings or service help....Thanks for all replies

Sounds like your fuse is rated too low, try a heavier fuse or search Retrevo and you may find a manual.

Can i use another 4a 250v fuse for my cerwin vega LS12 if its not a (slow blow) ,and what would be the outcome

Fuses have different blow characteristics. Such to protect components differently. An extremely fast fuse would protect sensitive components like tweeters and slower fuse will allow transcients to pass and blow on long time fault. If you put a slow blow in place of fast blow, it won't blow as quickly, but it could allow the protected device to be damaged. In reverse, you put a fast blow in place of slow blow, it will blow at normal transcients and be a nuscience to always replace.
You can cross to a fuse of different manufacturer. The reliable manufacturers will have detailed datasheet and subsitute or similar fuse to the fuse you are looking for.

Clicking noise from sub when in standby mode

Disconnect the input. Does it stop? If yes...

It sounds like it's sensing a signal at its turn-on threshold. Figure out why there's signal present when it shouldn't be there.

Exactly how is it connected to the source? LFE-only or full-range signal?

PSW 10 Not working

Your 2A 250v slow-blow fuse is blown, located under the back pannel. Mine just did the same thing. Problem is the problem with my PSW10 goes beyond the fuse. I have contacted Polk tech support to help me trouble shoot.

Acoustimass Subwoofer has a low "hummm" sound when turned on.

Sounds like an inadequate ground wire in the signal cable. You may have to replace the cable between the reciever and bass module. It also, however, may be IN the bass or reciever module.

Repeated fuse blowing generally indicates a blown power supply, or blown output stages or both. One thing to do is be sure that you have replaced the fuse with the correct type. A T stamped into the metal of the fuse near the rating, indicates sloblo or Time Lag fuse. A fast blo fuse, may work once, or more times, but will never replace a sloblo fuse in this type if unit. Good Luck, hope this info helps, don't hesitate to hit me back here for more help :)
