Hi we have just installed a gestetner asm645 (i think thats its name), and want to delete the old companies accounts as when we try to scan something it says it needs a "senders" account to scan...

can delete user accounts under system settings. Press the button marked 123(where you get your meter reading). under system settings go to administrator tools and address book managments. can delete user accounts and create new 1's. Or you can trun the user authentcation off. Then no code is needed.

Sender - under system settings go to file transfer. input your smtp and managers account email. When programing user in address book look for add as sender and input the email address. When emailing you can select sender and destination. If the user is not set up as a sender the list will be empty and you would not be able to select a sender. set up a user (email) that any one can use.

How do i delete my name in front of my e mail

You can perform the below steps to remove the name from email address if using Gmail account: Go to Settings > Accounts and Import > Send mail as and then click Edit info. Delete your name. You can leave that field blank if you wish.

If you are referring to change the name infront of email address then I am sorry to say that it is not possible as that is the email address regestered with the email service hence you have to create a new email address.

How to set the scanner feature of aficio 2018

As you did not specify which scanning type, I go for the most common.
Follow these steps:
  1. On the taskbar, click [Start], point to [All Programs], point to [SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin], and then click [SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin].

  2. Click the device to which you want to add destinations.

  3. On the [Tools] menu, click [Address Management Tool].

    l_im02141_02.gif

Log in to the device as necessary.

    l_im02141_03.gif

  4. On the [Edit] menu, click [Add New User].

    l_im02141_04.gif

  5. Enter the name of the user in the [Name] box, and the name to display in the [Key Display] box on the control panel of the device. Here, we have entered the name Sam User and the key display name S.User.

If you want to enter titles, select them from the [Title] boxes.

(Titles can be used to divide users into logical groups. Title 1 is alphabetical from AB to XYZ, Title 2 is numerical from 1 to 9, and Title 3 is numerical from 1 to 5.)

    Next, click [OK].

  6. Enter their e-mail address in the [E-mail Address] box, and then click [OK]. Here, we have entered sam@example.address as an example.

  7. On the [Edit] menu, click [Apply Settings].

    l_im02141_07.gif

  8. When the message Are you sure you want to apply settings to the device? is displayed, click [Yes].

    l_im02141_08.gif

  9. On the [File] menu, click [Exit].

  10. On the [Group] menu, click [Exit].

Remove abbyy finereader

Go to start, run and type in regedit....Be very careful while doing this...Click edit find and type in the name finereader and delete it. Hit F3 and when it finds the name again delete it. Make sure you only delete that name. Go all the way and delete that name intill it says it is finished searching the registry. Then search the computer for the name and delete it. I promise it will be gone....Darren

Need help getting my internet to work for cricket i flashed my htc from spirnt to cricket but no picture mail or internet

this is assuming that you have already loaded the arcsoft mms program onto your phone.. if not you will need to do some searching to find it... but since you said you were having problems getting it to download pictures,, im going to assume you have it on there.. so here you go...

go to Start/settings/connections/connections/advanced/select networks

once you get in there then click on add new modem connection and name it Cricket WAP and the modem should be Cellular Line and press next

on the next screen put #777 and click next

enter your User Name is yournumberwithareacode@mycricket.com and passwork is cricket and click finish

now go to proxy settings and check both boxes and write wap.mycricket.com on proxy server

now go to advance and write wap.mycricket.com on the server and 8080 in the port(do it in all 4) now click ok until you go back to network management

now on the second one click new and name it Cricket mms and celular line and click next

do step 5 & 6 again.

now you are done with the connections settings

For the next step you will need a registry editor

You can find phm regedit for free or use resco registry editor from resco explorer pack,, they have a demo

open it and go to Hkey Local Machine/software/arcsoft mms ua/config/mm1/wspheader

look for these strings and make sure they say this,, if not then edit them to be like this....

Accept Application/vnd.wap.multipart.related
Accept-Language en
User-Agent Arcsoft/MMSUA/v3.0
X-Cricket-MDN your phone number(you might have to replace sprint to Cricket)

if you missing some of them, go to edit/ new string

and if there are other stuff on there besides those 4, delete them

Now go back to Hkey Local Machine/software/arcsoft mms ua/config/UI

find EnableServerEdit

and change it from 0 to 1

now you need to soft reset your phone...

now go to your messages and click menu/MMS configuration and then click server and click add new,, add new or if you already have one called verizon or something,, just click it and click edit...
you need to change/input these settings into it

Server Name Cricket
Gateway leave blank
Port Number 8080
Server address http://mms.mycricket.com/servlets/mms
Connect Via Cricket MMS
Sending limit (your choice)
Wap version Wap 2.0

Mine is working great.
Good Luck
