Loosening up kneading blade

Can't remove kneading blade and the blade is very stiff in turning. the machine is groaning and squeaking. I've never been able to take off the kneading blade from day one. How do I remove and what do I do to get the blade moving freely. I have soaked in hot soapy water.

Try some penatrating oil. It may be rusted a little. Then tap the center with a punch.

I was given a regal bread maker model k6751 is the kneading blade supposed to turn the whole time?

No, the blade only turns when the machine is in a mix or knead cycle. There are many minutes where the blade does nothing. This is when your machine is allowing the dough to rise or at the end during the bake phase.

How to remove stuck blade bolt on MTD Mower model 449

Jeff:

First make sure that you are loosening the blade bolt (Are you turning it in the right direction?) Turn the mower on it's side and lodge a piece of wood between the blade and the body of the machine and really crank on that wrench. The blade bolt is probably rusted in the crankshaft.

I have had a Panasonic breadmaker from Jan 2009 and it has been in regular use without problems. Recently on several occasions (not consecutive) the dough paddle has become detached during the mixing...

The kneading blade on the Panasonic bread makers is designed to fit loosely. If the dough is 'stiff' the kneading blade may stay in the bread when the loaf is removed from the pan. Allow the bread to cool completely before removing the blade carefully. Some types of flour absorb more water than others, so you can try adding an extra 10 - 20ml of water next time to see if this results in a slightly less 'stiff' dough.

This problem can also be caused if crust has built up underneath the blade. Make sure to wash the blade and its spindle after each use.

Trust this is helpful. Thank you for using FixYa!

If the spindle is turning and the paddle is not then your paddle is worn out and probable slipping on the spindle. If the spindle isn't turning then your problem is underneath the pan or inside the drive and your paddle may be fine.

Put a kettle of hot water on the stove.
After it starts boiling pour about 3 inches of hot water in the bread pan.

Wait about 5 minutes. Dump water out and remove blade.

If this fail. Repeat until the blade come out.

good luck.

Sqeaking when kneading oster 2 loaf bread machine - how to oil?

Hi,
Take out the bread pan and go to a kneading cycle. See if it is squeaking. If yes, then it could be the belt squeaking on the pulley or the motor itself. If it does not squeak when the pan is out, then it's the bread pan paddle and sealed bearing. That sealed bearing is lubed and sealed. It can't be oiled. Hank

Kneading blade cooks into the loaf

Hi Jessica,

As I read the manual, under the Care & Cleaning section,

"2. If the kneading blades remain in the bread pan, grip the kneading blade and
pull straight up to remove......"

Based on the diagrams and instructions, I don't think you're supposed to pull the blades before baking...why do you want them out? Cosmetics?

If I can be of further assistance, let me know. If this solves the issue, please rate it accordingly.

Thanks in-advance for using Fixya.com,

Jon

Kneading blade stays in bread after cooking.

Hi,

This sometimes happens. I have a Panasonic.

When you place contents in pan with some machines it is important to place contents
in a particular order. I should try to keep contents away from the kneading blade as you place them.
Another thing that might possibly help is to put a litter olive oil around the blade before adding ingredients.

Hope that this helps
