Question about Insignia IS-LCDTV32 32 in. Television
New Year's eve my 32" Insignia 3-year old LCD HD tv flat panel worked fine, the next morning, no picture. The LCD doesn't glow, so can't see the menu or anything. The power light is either solid red when off or solid blue when on, no flashing. The capacitors look fine on the power board, no swollen tops or discoloration, and I tried the hair dryer trick 4 times but didn't work. This would make me think it's not the power board?
These forums have been extremely helpful, I knew nothing before reading the posts here, but I can't figure this one out?
Insignia NS-32LCD has problems. Has sound but no picture. Back light is present as well as green and purple vertical lines. I replaced power supply and PC BOARD 782.32FB18-520A no help. Flashlite test showed nothing. Any suggestions???

If you feel the power supply is good then the next item would be the main pcb. if the back light is coming on with no video then the t-con board is bad but power supply seems to be most common for me.

HI I have the same tv and a tech and if your looking for the inverter its not in any of your pictures see the picture that you have circles on the whole board in the middel is the power board the board on the left is the main board this has a metal/tin all around it and the board on the right is the tuner board this has a metal/tin all around it to. now the inverter is in the tv more you have to take apart the rest of the tv to get to it. you can kinda see it if you take out the tuner board and look up and into the tv more wit ha flashlight. hope this helps
