is it the correct remote for the set. Some universals will operate the set with limited functions, like power, channels and volume but not other functions, if it is programmable try all the codes until it works.

Try searching for codes online, I have found some sites that have remote codes that I could not find in any of the books that came with universal remotes. There has to be a code that will let u use this remote fully functional. Your not doomed there is always an alternative solution.

Hi there, if you know what model it is you can do a google search for the owners manual. There should be a sequence of buttons you can push or hold to reset to factory/default settings.

I don't know how to put my ps3 to work on my telelvisoin without the original remote. ANY Advice?

The TV always have buttons on them somewhere that you can use to control your set, ALL TV's will work without a remote. Look for these 4 - 5 Buttons on the unit, on top, side under a flap, somewhere. Now by selecting the Menu, you use the others to step Up/Down, and another to "Select or Enter" please consult your manual. link below

You should be able to use the device button on the remote control. If this does not work, try going into the menu and disable the home theater mode. The home theater mode locks the TV to input 1. I believe that it is in the advanced menu from the main menu.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.

VS60603 nothing but a blue screen

I understand that the input button does not work, but, I need to know if the menu button works. If you are able to pull up the menu, I think that I can help you fix this problem.

Your symptoms sounds like that your input is fixed to the input one or video one input.
I have seen this many times and it can be fixed rather simply.

If you can pull up the menu, you can fix this with the remote.

You will need to pull up the menu and change the option of Home Theater to off.

I think that this is in the advanced menu from the main menu.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.

I have tried to post solutions, but they seem to be too long, so I will have to post more than once to get the info to you.

First part- the "Line-In" Video Source thing many people are having fun with. Try these options from the Samsung FAQs website.:
