I like to have the date on my pix. However I see a tiny date at bottom right of screen and a larger date on top left of screen. I would like to have only the very small date at bottom right of screen...

Cathi - You didn't say which Nikon camera you have but in general the larger date (in white I believe) is only for the screen display. The smaller (orange) time-date on the bottom right is what will be saved on the Image and what will be seen when you look at the pictures in or out of the camera.

Thanks for using Fix Ya and have a nice day.

Picture very blurry with lines going accross screen

hi gud day! your problem has a solution. Just try to fix your tv from blurry picture. Pull the socket at hte back of the picture tube. remove the socket from pcb(printed circuit board) de solder the pins. then after that, if you see a 2 metal formed like a small mountain facing each other, try to clean those remove the rust (green color) using sander or any material you can use, just avoid using oil on that bcause it is sparking. then try to install it again and try to turn on your tv. if still not working replace that socket with a new one. you can buy it at any electronic supply store. and re install then on it again.. surely it will fix your tv without expensive components.

be sure unplugging the tv from ac souce before disassimbling...

thanks,
janex

Well let see if we can talk you thu "grayscaling " a set, first remove the speaker grill and the front cover to expose the screen/focus controls these will be six controls mounted on a plastic looking box, next turn the set on and get a good signal, Then from the custmer menu simpley go the the pix settings and turn the color all the way down, next use the screen controls to make the pix the best black and white you can. Next turn to a input that has no signal and the pix should be black, if there are small retrace lines simply turn down that color till it goes away , then back to a signal source that should still have a good black and white pix. Put everything back together and turn the color back up

Black horizontal lines

Sounds as if you have a bad capacitor in the horizontal deflection or video circuitry. You can spot a bad capacitor in circuit with a ESR meter.Hope this helps.
