you didn't state exactly how it's not working. the wireless or wired mode/s. i did some checking prior to posting & haven't found a user's guide. do you have that? in the wireless mode this mike requires a battery or batteries in order to function. in the wired mode you use the supplied cable & connect directly o sound broad

If it is the NAXA NX-982 wireless system, they will work fine wired, but odds are they won't work at all wirelesssly. This is due to the positive battery tab in the body of the microphone is not dimpled deeply enough to actually contact the top of the battery. A pair of needle nose pliers or a screwdriver to tweak the tab down a little further so that contact is made fixed both microphones.

How to set up a MPWL 1504 wireless mic to a tv

Depends on what inputs are available on your TV. If you have unused A/V inputs that use RCA style connectors you'll need an adapter cable to make it work. Those cables can be had at music stores or on line.

Tip

Staying in range

Just bought a the naxa NX-984 on http://www.jujudeals.com and I was having issues with the microphones receiving crazy feedback from each other. I couldn't figure what was wrong so I contacting their support department and they told me to make sure the frequency settings were set correctly. I noticed I had overlapping frequencies and with the flip of a switch everything was working great again. Felt like I wasn't the only one out there so I am sharing this tip with the community.

I have the AKG wms 40 dual mini mic set with two wireless mics. When mic on ch 2 is in the off position, I get lots of static. Works perfectly fine when on. What do you think is the issue?

Channel 2 mic's receiver needs the Squelch adjusted. The squelch control mutes the receiver so that when the transmitter stops transmitting, erroneous noises are not picked up and amplified.

Why won't wireless mic turn on the "Ready" light on receiver?

Make certain the mic and the receiver are in the same exact frequency band. There are stickers on both products that list the frequency band.

Why won't wireless mic turn on the "Ready" light on receiver?

The handheld is in a different frequency band than the receiver. There are stickers on both that saw what frequency range they can tune to.

Hi i have this system 2X Shure LX4 Wireless MARCAD Receiver + SM58 Microphone can i buy seperate SM58 MICROPHONE to use in this system? thx. mike

The LX series was discontinued by Shure several years ago. They no longer have any new transmitters that would work with your receiver. You could look for a used transmitter, but it would need to be on the exact same frequency as your receiver. That will not be easy to find.

There are many things that can cause bad sound in a wireless system. I suggest calling Shure at 847-600-8440. Their Applications group can help you troubleshoot the problem. Have the wireless system with you when you call them.

Microphone cutting off

Ensure the battery in the mic is 100% - low batteries can cause all sorts of symptoms. I wouldn't recommend anything other than a well known brand of Alkaline battery and definatley not rechanrgables.

Naxa NX-984 red microphone does not work. How

If you got it recently, you can check to see if the store offers any kind of return policy. If it does not, or enough time has passed that you don't qualify for it, you can also try Naxa's 90 day manufacturer's warranty. Check the support page here for the specifics of the warranty and the contact info.
