Question about Garmin iQue 3600 GPS Receiver
When I try and run the updater I keep getting the following error:
Update Error - Routes and tracks are using too much memory to perform this update. Please delete some routes or tracks and begin the update again.
I have cleared and verifed that both are empty, have hard reset and wiped data but still no luck.
I want to get to r6 but need to get to r3 first. When I apply r6 the ubit powers off with garbage on the bottom of the screen. When I reset the updater files are gone but the update does not take.
Any help would be appreciated.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Garmin Nuvi 200 2009 Map Update
Here's what worked for me. Nuvi 200 brand new w/2008 trying to upgrade to 2009.
After registering and download the map 2009, I started the install. I go to a point where I was told I needed 37MB more room. I went thru windows explorer and looked in the Nuvi. I went into the language folder and moved all of the languages I didn't need to my hard drive. I then went into the HELP folder of the Nuvi and again removed the all of the languages I did not need. I then went back to the install program and hit retry. All good from there. I hope this helps.

You'll have to do a hard reset. Push the reset button, then hold the power button until the Palm Power appear and then release the power button. Next it will ask if you want to erase the data. I hate to said this but select yes. No will not work. Then after the inital set up run a HotSync.

The simplest method is to update the software for the Mapping/Data, the one you probably had is sooo out of date!
