Question about LG CE500 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

I bought my son a used LG CE500 cell phone from Ebay. The phone is really nice, but its set so you have to listen through an ear piece and for the life of me I can't figure out how to swtich back to normal answer, so we can hear on it without an earpiece. Suggestions?

Hello sir i m using Samsung guru E1410....... it's a very nice phone battery backup is very good but sir i m having one problem , while making any call or receiving any call ... my receiver speaker sound...

Hello and Welcome to fixYa!

Software End Possibilities:
It happens some times that due to some unknown reasons, the voice is reduced to a low range in order to protect the speaker from getting damage... Try checking the voice/ear piece volume settings and if the problem still persists..Try resetting the handset to FACTORY DEFAULTS ( Do make sure to back up your personal data before doing so).
Hardware End Possibilities:
If the handset is ever repaired or is in use for a long time, there are possibilities that the ear piece might had dust particles trapped on its diaphragm or even physical contacts may be disturbed.. Check for the dust particles and proper physical contacts....

Have a Nice day,

Concerned,

Answer LG without flipping it open.

By default, it's set to "any key" which means when you press any key on the keypad, calls will be received. If it's then go to call settings and set the answer options to "any key" and save the settings.
Good luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Hi,

the ear piece speaker which other speak into and you hear from is damaged inside the phone and it needs to be replaced to get clear listening of calls coming in.

When you replace it, you will start hearing clearly again.

Take care.

Hello Sir, If you are not getting the sound when you want to hear it on the speakers but getting it on Headset. Then the problem is in the Speakers. They are either loose, have not connection with phone or are not functioning due to some H/w failure. Contact LG and they will get the Ear Piece replaced.
Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.

Phones ear speaker stopped working?

I guess this is a common problem huh. No worries!

First: Click on your music button and play a song as you would normally do on your phone (make sure your speaker is on during this point).

Second: Click on the speaker button so you can listen to your music through your ear piece (as your music is still playing). If you don't hear your music through your ear piece wait until you hear it. It shouldn't take more than a minute. (Your music should be playing throughout this whole process)

Follow these steps every time you come across this problem.

If this solution resolved your problem, please leave a comment and a good rate. Thank you!

Sound

You need to check the setting if the phone is not put to a sort of mute setting while pressing the buttons.
