Question about XBox 360 Games
Alright so ive been looking everyone on the net to find the answer but it seems like my situation is somewhat unique =/
ive had my xbox for about 2 years now, and it has been working perfectly fine with no isses up till just yesterday when i was playing it later in the day on live the screen flashed green stripes kinda, and the image was distorted and it started screeching, so i shut it off and turned it back on and tried again, it works fine for about 20 - 30 mins before it does the exact thing again, so i figure my disk is bad and i stop playing for the day, today im playing rockband again for about 20 - 30 mins and it just goes striped green screen and no sound. i have no idea whats going on with it!
Hello Snarker it sounds like you have a bad AV cable, try replacing it with a different one( It will costs $5-10). If there is still a problem try removing your HDD ( the hard drive which is removed from the top of your xbox 360). If neither of those seem to fix your screen's issue, you may have an internal device that has overheated or come loose, I would recommend try leaving your xbox on and see if red rings appear on your console Like this(they might be in a different idea I am just letting you know where to look) . If they do you can send your xbox back to Microsoft wait 2-4 weeks and get it back for free.
I hope that helped and if you need anymore assistance please let me know.
