Peugeot 406 2.0. The car loses power. Diagnostic shows fuel. I've changed the pump, injectors. When I spray in throttle body then the car doesn't cut out or lose power only when it's dry again.

Question edited for a lot more clarity. 'lose' and 'loose' are two different words and your space bar appears to be broken. :>D

So it seems the car is running on the fumes of the throttle body cleaner, yes? Did you disconnect the battery when you changed the fuel pump? Did you reset the ant-theft and immobilizer?

If the throttle body is the issue, remove it and clean it properly both sides so it opens and closes easily..

1988 Pont. Bonn.3.8 replaced fuel pump relay and replaced blown fuse behind glove box still pump doesn't work. Gas gauge is pegged on full does this mean anything

Bad ground. It runs to the front of the car. You can cut it and ground it to the body. Make sure the battery to body ground is good also.

try placing a couple of wraps of friction tape around the impeller body and use the Channellock pliers so you can grip it without damage.

Gas guage shows over full all the time

You have lost the ground input to the gas gage. Its the black wire coming from the fuel pump connector at the fuel pump. Either the wire is broken or the input to the body control computer is broken, thus creating high Resistance on the input wire. The computer will think the tank is full, a shorted wire would indicate lo Resistance and read empty. Locate the fuel pump connector and jumper the black wire directly to the body (ground) and turn the key to run, check gage. If reads normal the wire is broken betwwen fuel tank and its ground location.

My truck will not start just cranks but will not fire

Air - not likely the problem ! mechanical cable controlled throttle body

Fuel- make sure there is gas in tank! fuel pressure test at the throttle body or rails, if no fuel check power to fuel pump: ignition power to breaker or fuse, relay , power to pump at 3 pin connector near tank/frame rail on drivers side, - if pump is runniig but insufficient pressure, check for mechanical restriction: plugged filter broken or pinched line, plugged pickup tube in tank. if good pressure to rail or body, check ecm : diagnostic codes, fused power, ecm tells injectors when to open, dependent upon several sensor parameter inputs.

Spark- ignition - coil-distributor-ignition module (or coil packs)- wires-plugs-ignition module (signals coil to discharge, mounted beneath distr cap) work backwards from plugs.

I have a 1983 nissan 720 pickup and it has and outside mounted fuel pump. the power wire fell off of it now it doesnt work and i cant find anywhere on the pump where to put the power wire back on.. i need...

If the wire broke off close to where it enters the fuel pump body you wont be able to reattach the wire without disassembling the pump body to resolder the broken wire leads inside. I would recommend finding a new universal style replacement pump at a discount auto parts store as I did on an 84 king cab. You may have to mount a bracket and re plumb some new fuel line also.

I have a bmw 318 ti

Take a large Long Pointy punch and place on the edge of the pump and with a good size hammer give a good blow to crack the pump in half, then pull out the peices.

Jacuzzi Leaking

you need to pull the jet body out and then put some 100% RTV silicone around the jet body and the inside of the wall fitting. Once the silicone is in place re-assemble the jet. that will solve the leak unless there is a broken piece on the jet body or the lip of the wall fitting.

Wont start

no fuel issue. check fuse for fuel pump check fuel pump fuel pump relay fuel filter could be pluged.if you turn engine over acouple turns and stop you should hear fuel pump buzz.also check wires at ignition coil for corrostion or broken fuel pump relay gets its singnal for negitive side of coil.
