Visit the Logitech website and browse the photo gallery for your model and click on the photo to navigate to the support page. Note - Older models on page 2 - look for the link at the bottom right of page 1 and click on it "Still can't find your product?"
In addition to the Logitech installer you will need to run the support software - Microsoft DirectX . This comes pre-loaded on most Windows computers but has to be updated - I am currently on version 11 To start the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, click Start, click Run, type dxdiag in the Open box, and then click OK.
Procedure to re-install Logitech software Close all programs while uninstalling - downloading and uploading software Disconnect your webcam Uninstall the current webcam software on your computer Restart computer Download the Installation package from Logitech Run the installer and choose your options during the installation - You may not want Logitech Chat but the Desktop icon for the webcam toolbar is a must. You should download the driver for Windows XP, unzip it (if not specified otherwise C:\temp\cs330_XP).
I guess that if you say the camera doesn't work it means you already tried to connect it to the USB in your computer. If so, right-click on "My Computer" and click on "Manage". Go to "Device Manager (under "System Tools"). You should see there a device named "Unknown Device". Double click on it and go to the Driver tab. click "Update driver..." and select "Browse my computer for driver software". Now, select the location you unzipped the driver to (as said before, usually C:\temp\cs330_XP) and click next until windows will try to install the driver. This can take from a few seconds to a few minutes. After a while (for me it took about 2.5 minutes so be patient) windows should say the installation was succesful.
