Question about Sony Handycam DCR-SR200 Camcorder

On certain angle no view on the screen

My camcorder screen showing nothing. Initially it started flickering and then no display. It happened for couple of times and then it completely off, may be it is a loose connection. I am still able to charge it, record videos. By connecting TV, I can able to browse and play videos as well.

Same issue here. The LCD will work if I wiggle it - like a broken trace in the ribbon cable. Everything else about it works OK - even the touch screen (but you don't know what you're touching). I bought it about 16 months ago. I thought I would be safe with Sony, I guess not.

It is the ribbon cable, costs about $50 for both( just to be on the safe side).Make sure the connectors go in all the way and you should be fine. It's not that easy to do but with some patience it can be done.

I bought Toshiba satellite T135 last year but it has splash screen when I search the internet .How can I do to solve the problem?

When I read "twinkle", I have the picture of individual pixels flashing white in the middle of colored or dark areas. This would be a hardware problem (bad connections to those pixels), unless it occurs only when you are running certain programs. Usually if you have display connection problems, they will show up as an entire row or column of pixels stuck on one color, but intermittent single pixels are possible.

There are two types of flickering (flashing all over the display or an area of the display). In one, you will see irregular, mostly horizontal bands of slightly darker or brighter areas moving rapidly all over the display. This happens on some displays when the resolution is on certain settings other than the display's maximum ("native") resolution. For example, the native resolution of the T135-S1300 is 1366x768. (There are about half a dozen variants of the T135, so I only mention the one I checked for an example.)

The other type of flickering is caused by a problem with the backlight. Most of the older laptops have a fluorescent tube at the top and bottom of the screen. When these approach the end of life, they start to flicker, especially when the computer is first turned on, and often have pinkish tint. The T135-S1300 uses LED backlights, so that should not be a problem.

If you have a hardware problem, it would probably be one of the foregoing, and it would show up in all programs, or when you have nothing going except your Desktop picture. If the problem shows up only in the web browser, you may have some weird browser add-on or plug-in. What browser is it (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari ...)?

Another possibility is a virus or other malware program. Open your anti-virus program, tell it to update its virus definitions, then run a full scan. Do the same with your spyware remover.

My PC won't start? every time i start it the fan just spins fast and loud and nothing happens, the screen doesn't show. this happened when i took the PC apart. it a Compaq presario sr1610nx

Initially test the monitor in another pc, if display available use the monitor in Compaq presario sr1610nx. Load to BIOS by restarting and tapping F1, if the display available, the computer is ok. restart and tap F8, if the advanced boot option screen comes up, the software is ok.
Restart the computer and tap F10 and proceed with a destructive recovery to reload the operating system on the computer

Everything that displays on the screen now has a bluish hue and flickers at certain angles, model 3694

the lcd is starting to go bad it sounds like. Call Acer Support to get it serviced if your laptop is still under warranty.

If your laptop is not under warranty then you'll need to find a place to buy the lcd and get it replaced, this site has the screen for your laptop:

You can do a search thru google and find more as well.

The display screen does not sit any viewing angle.

More than likely both hinges are broken (the screen pivots to the hinges). Nothing to do but to replace both L and R hinges.

No display on view screen but able to record and play by connecting to TV

I have the same problem: Technical Service says flexible tape between LCD and camera could be open in some lines. The solution is to change that tape.

Gr-dvx7 jvc lcd screen is just white?

If the view finder shows the same white display. You probably have display circuit problem in the camera. Faulty CCD chip usually shows Black screen so it probably board problem or a connector problem. If you see an image through view finder then you may have defective connection from board to LCD assy. Either way it need to be looked at by a trained technician. Good luck.
