Question about Projection Televisions
I have a samsung 61 inch dlp tv, my problem is while watching tv the screen goes black as if i turn it off with the remote,i can turn it back on but it does the same thing again and again. help me, my email address is email@example.com and home phone is 9018646438
all 3 lights blinking means lamp has a fault the service manual says replace the lamp. If you need the service training manual for that model let me know and I will post the link as the training manual has excellent trouble shooting breakdowns for that model DLP

It sounds like the lamp bulb, I had the same problem and I took the bulb unit out of the back, cleaned it out really good and replaced it, it works fine now and I didn't have to buy a new bulb unit for about $200.00. Good luck.

Hi,If you are experimenting vertical lines ,color distortion, pixilation,or white dots on the screen you might be having an issue with the Dmd chip. This is how the DMD chip works: http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/dlp1.htm Basically the dmd chip is composed of around 2 million pixels that create the image on the screen. You will need to replace in order to fix your problem.Have a blessed one!
