Will not print at all

I can not get the printer to print at all. Also went to check ink level and it is not giving me any reading at all. If the cartridge is out of ink, why no message, saying thus.

Went to Staples and they helped me fix it. there was nothing wrong with the print; just needed new cartridge for the printer. Althought it did not tell me that when I pulled out the cartridge that it was surrounded by the drum and I took the whole thing to staples and they gave me a new cartridge without looking into the bag, that I brought the cartridge in. Lookly after I left the girl looked into the bag and realized that I had left the drum attached. When I went home and could not get the cartridge to install into my printer, went back to Staples which was close to my home. I girl there realized that the drum was missing. Call the girl at the Staple in Windsor which is were I bought the orginal and she had kept my drum. Thereby forcing me to drive 30 miles to get my drum back. By the way, the printer did not flash "Toner" to let me know that it was low.

Why was my printer showing my print level to be 3/4 the way full for both the black & color, & then I went to print again and there are ? marks on my ink levels, & a error that says cartridge problem?

printers are calibrated to only measure ink levels for original cartridges ( Lexmark)
if you refill or use generic cartridges the machine will not read the levels and will send a ink level warning or will not print because it thinks the ink is out and will not work to protect the printer
Talk with a lexmark service center for proper diagnosis

When i try to print give message that '' ink has run out, replace the ink cartridge and close the cover" and so on the orange light is blinging.

Ink has run out mean in cartridge ink level counter reach zero level. Cartridge can not be used again even though it was refilled, because the counter still reads zero level.Replace the new cartridge or reset the counter using ip1600 ink level resetter. But I thinkthe more effective is to turn off the ink level counter. Just press the ink button about 30 seconds and then release. After that will appear ink level counters have been released. In the ink image on the monitor status will appear gray.

I cannot check the level of ink in my hp 5610 model printer

You need the HP Toolbox software: Follow these steps to check the ink levels in the Toolbox . The Toolbox is part of the standard printer software. Depending on the version of Toolbox on your computer, the appearance of the Toolbox features might vary. NOTE: Ink level warnings and indicators provide estimates for planning purposes only. When an indicator shows low ink levels, consider having a replacement cartridge available to avoid possible printing delays. Print quality deteriorates as cartridges run out of ink.
  1. Click Start .
  2. Click Printers and Faxes .
  3. Right-click the icon for your printer and then click Printing Preferences .
  4. Click the Features tab.
  5. Click the Printer Services button. The Toolbox window opens.
  6. Click the Estimated Ink Levels tab. A window opens that indicates the estimated ink level of each cartridge.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

Bland and color cartridges have been refilled but

Ink level counter (program) didn't read actually ink at ink tank. Brand new cartridge ink level counter 100% (full), and ink 100% (about 10 ml). After may printing, ink will dry out, and ink level counter reach zero (ink out). Printer will not allow print anymore, even have refilled, because ink level read "ink out". For canon type, you just to release ink level counter, and counter just stop, but printer will allow to print. Press stop/reset button for about 30 second.

When i print a black and white picture from computer it prints pinkish

Have you checked your ink levels? There is a low ink utility with HP printers that should read the ink level of the Black or Grey cartridge.
If the levels are up, then run the maintenance and nozzle check for this printer through the Print menu.

My printer can't read the new ink level after refilling

The ink level indicator is only an estimate to give you an idea when it's time to buy a new cartridge. You cannot reset the ink level indicator so simply ignore it if you refill your cartridges. See pg 72 of the user manual which you can get here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01374711.pdf

Printing Problem

Cleaning cycles use ink. So it's no wonder it got worse, the ink level went down. Are you 100% sure that the black cart is full? they can give a wrong reading on occasion. what makes you think its full? Could be also that you need to replace the head- the part the cart fits into. generally they don't last more than 18 months.] Another possibility is that the black is indeed full, but dry. Put a wet sponge to the nozzle, see if it soaks up a decent amount of ink. Good luck
