Question about Nikon Coolpix L11 Digital Camera
The flash fails to work. The result: all the pictures taken are too dark.
Check first to see if your flash is shut off. If it is turned on and you still get no flash then you need a new flash pcb. You are probably looking at around $125 to have a camera repair shop do this.
Hope this helps.

There may be the issue with the CCD (image sensor device) of the Camera.
Refer this article to confirm this.
Check whether the LCD screen of the Camera looks similar as given on the page.
If yes, click on the "Yes" button at the end of the page to create an onlineRepair Request for sending the Camera to the Sony Factory ServiceCenter.

If your flash has worked properly in the past, the camera may need to be serviced. If your subject is within 6 - 8 feet and is not being properly illuminated, something needs to be adjusted or replaced.
By specification, your flash will only adequately illuminate subjects out to 14 feet (wide angle) or 10 feet (telephoto). If you're trying to shoot subjects further away than that, the flash is not bright enough.
