Question about Graphics Cards
I keep getting a prompt that says the device is not available or being used by another application. I don't know what else is running and cannot figure it out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times and tried to find anything else running but can't find anything. I did get it to work on another computer, however the audio was missing when i burned the dvd. But I think I can figure that out. Please let me know how I can see all the devices that could be causing this conflict and shut them off....Thanks! I have a similar problem. I'm using SmartDisk VideoSafe with QuickDVD to try to convert some old VHS to DVD, it will burn the video but there isn't any sound. It's driving me nuts. There are only 4 inputs on the unit standard A/V jacks and an S video, my old VCR does not support S video and only has 2 jacks one yellow video and one white (left?) audio...looking for a solution to audio problem or I will take suggestions on a new product as long as it's reasonably priced. Been searching the internet for new stuff and now I'm really confused..help please
I can help you with the problem about knowing what devices are in your computer (this solution is for windows XP home and professional) go to your control panel in your start bar make sure the controll panel is in classic view and open "System" and open the hardware tab then click "Device manager" you should be able to see all the devices on you PC From there :) hope this helped
