I'll assume that you do have a webcam, and that the drivers are installed, and that the webcam functions properly. In Windows Live Messenger, open the menu, then go to tools, then select Audio and Video Setup. Follow the instructions for the audio part, then click "next". Select your webcam from the drop-down list, finally click "Finish". That should be it!
