My start button does not work - Reebok RL1500 Elliptical

The start button has quit working and will need to be replaced.

Safety system locking out the start switch. Door not closed, mode and timer not set etc.

I suspect the start button. In many bikes the start button deactivates the headlight to provide full power for starting. This continuous load works the button mechanism quite hard.

Does it do this in all setting on the dial, normal,heavy ,delicate?

The volume buttons on the side of the phone are sticking. My up volume button seemed fine, but someone told me to keep pushing it and the button will release. Sure enough, the volume controls started to work. I played with both the up and down buttons some more and the button below started working. A few more minutes monkeying around with the volume buttons and now all the buttons work.

If you have a unit where the start button is not working most of these units will make some sort of beeping sound if you depress start button and no sound it maybe the key pad itself is causing this problem. Depending on manufacturer you can purchase the keypad/overlay and some will want you to purchase the entire display.

This happened to me on Christmas Day morning & it happened once before. I finally remembered how I fixed it. Push the "Clear" button & then push the "Start" & keep it held in until you see the lock button light up (takes awhile) & then push the "Clear" button again. After I did this the "Clock" worked again - reset the clock to the correct time & push "Start" Then click on "Bake" set your temperature & push "Start". Hope this works for you. It got me out of cooking Christmas Dinner, but I fixed it today!!
