Question about Harman Kardon HK206 Computer Speakers
No sound comes from either speaker except a very loud screeching sound. Could it be the power source? What would cause this noise?

the noise is sometimes caused by dust in the volume control.
i would suggest blowing the dust out around the volume control if there is a manual control on the unit. use a small can of compressed air.. buy it at local walmart or computer store.
