Question about HP PSC 2210 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Installed the ink cartridge this am. and as quoted prints from printer, but not from the computer. Had this problem last time I installed and took me two days to figure out. I had two computers on the program and I deleted the other and it seemed to work. I can't remember how I did this and I do need some assistance. Would appreciate it very much
To delete a printer go the the controll panel printers and highlight it and delete it. That should not be necessary. .
Go to you support page and download the drivers for the version of windows that you have. Delete the present printer off of
your computer (software) Reinstall the new downloaded software driver.
Now hook up and turn on the printer.

In most cases the printer driver software can have errors while being in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now check the printer properties to see the ink levels.
Activate head cleaning before a test is taken .Use the test print to calbrate the SCANNER.
Check all the leads and connections of the mother board , the tags to the ink cartridge. Also check the mechanical settings of the ink cartridge , if jammed or tight remove motor and manually free the drive before it is set back.

A new color print cartridge needs to be installed.
If available, click the Continue button on your computer screen to print using the
black (or photo) print cartridge. (The Continue button is available only at the
beginning of a print job.)
Note: A variable amount of ink remains in the color print cartridge.
Follow these steps to replace the color print cartridge in your printer:
1 Cancel the print job if not already canceled.
2 Replace the color print cartridge with a new cartridge. For more information,
see "Removing a used print cartridge" on page 35 and "Installing print
cartridges" on page 35.
3 Print again.
To order supplies, click Order Ink on your computer screen. You can also see
"Ordering paper and other supplies" on page 40 in this guide.
Installing print cartridges
1 If you are installing new print cartridges, remove the sticker and tape from the back and bottom of the cartridges.
Warning-Potential Damage: Do not touch the gold contact area on the back or the metal nozzles on the
bottom of the cartridges.
