Power supply light keeps flashing and the unit wont turn on

The reason the console is not turning on but flashing the power light is because there is a problem in the unit.

First try to dismantle the console and tighten every connection, then you assess the power panel for any bad capacitors, if there is any bad capacitor, have it replaced, by carefully turning the board to the back and melting off the capacitors tip and replacing it with a new one.

After doing that, reassemble the console together and try to turn it on, and you will be surprised that it will work perfectly.

Take care and good luck

LG 26LG30 screen suddently went blank. Light flashing blue/red

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.
Please post back what you find.

Philips 42PF9967/10 blue light comes on the here a clicking of the relay then clicks off again and the blue light stays on and the red light at left of flashes

Your TV must have bad capacitors on the power supply board.
The tops of the capacitors will be domed/swollen.
Replacing the capacitors will fix the problem

when you take the back off, locate the plug wires from where they come into the back of the TV follow them up and it will end in the control board. search for the capacitor that would have bulged or swelled. This was not just take a quick look, it would be so slight that it wasn't even really apparent until we scrutinized each one.

Replacing this Capacitor would solve your problem

ACER P221W No display and power light blinking

You have a monitor with a common problem. After a few years some LCD monitors will blow a power supply. The problem is caused by parts called capacitors overheating in the confined space of he monitor. If you are good at electronics repair/soldering you can usually fix he problem. Check out a few pictures on my web site You can take the back cover off your monitor and look for the bad parts, replace any that look like the pictues and your monitor should work fine. The capacitors do need to be installed with the correct + and - connections, note the stripe on the old one and insert the new one the same way. If you don't want to try the repair yourself we offer a repair service for $35 plus shipping. If the monitor does not have any bad caps then I would be that when the video card died it sent a spike to the monitor and killed the driver board. I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.
