There is usually a "float" on the bottom of the dishwasher, if its stuck it will give you that error....look for that and see if it moves freely. If not, see why (duh) If its hard water, or soap built up around it, clean it off. Then run some vinigar threw a wash every now and then to keep it free. hope this works!!

Water dispenser not working-water getting to door but not up through line in door

Check to see, if the line is kinked. Are you sure, that the part, that is pressed, to release the water works? I'm not an expert on the model. I'm just asking general questions.

Indicator showing a water droplet sign on the left lights up red. What does that means? How to solve the problem?

could be one of two things
the machine is asking to be primed or ventilated , where you turn the hot water on till the light goes out.

or is asking for tank to be filled. There is a magnet float in water tank sometimes it stops floating making the machine think there is no water. to check fill tank with water and look to see if float is floating it will be grey/black in bottom corner of tank

Check valve

If you are asking about the valve to the left of the water pump, it is used to dump water when the unit pumps the water out of the sump to keep sediment out. If it is bad, the unit will have short freeze cycles as the the valve is leaking water out causing the float to drop prematurely and causing small cubes and short freeze cycles.

I have a 1999 oldsmobile aleo i do not know where the engine coolant goes

Are you asking where to actually put the coolant in or asking why your coolant is needing to be replaced often?
If you are not sure where the coolant goes - it goes in the radiator. Should be in the front of the engine compartment, has a cap on top of it (either in the middle or on one side) with warnings about not opening of overheated. Unscrew the top & follow any mixing instructions on the coolant labels.
If you are loosing coolant & don't know why: Check coolant levels first, look for any leaks from hoses (make sure your connections are tight & hoses are not cracked/busted), check for leaks from the radiator itself (any holes or cracks), check the fan (is it turning like it should with the motor running), check the fan belt (is it broken). If all these things check out - get your water pump checked (if it's out, water is not getting to/circulating around like it should). If it's not the water pump, you may have a cracked head gasket. Check the easy stuff first though - good luck.

What is the criteria to maintain the ph value of high pressure boiler

I like this question-- for I was a stationary engineer for many years...
However-- I need to know what you are asking about--
1.) are you asking what pH to maintain in the boiler water itself?

2.) or are you asking what to test the water with?-- or WHY to be concerned with pH

as for the answer to the first-- You want the pH up in the 10 or 11 pH range--
The condensate coming back needs to be above pH of 7, to avoid corrosion in the condensate piping...

As for the reason to keep it high-- is for several reasons--
To allow the solids in the water, to stay soft, and not form hard scale on the boiler surfaces.

Are you using boiler water treatment?

Ask more questions,-- see if I can help you. I enjoy this! :-)

The washer is set on cold/cold. The hot water faucet is turned off. The washer should not be asking for hot water because it is set to cold/cold. It asks for and received cold water. At some point...

Newer machines know the water temperature. It will mix hot water even on a cold setting if the incoming water is too cold. Detergents need a temperature of at least 60 to activate. This will only happen in the winter usually.

No water should be coming from the dryer, you might want to check the washer, which is where it would be coming from. Check the hoses one the washer to make sure that the connections are tite. If I can be of more help let me know and thankyou for asking!

Hotpoint wf860 - H2O Error Code - Machine is asking for water but draining it straight out

Check that your outlet pipe rises above the stated height on the back of the machine (about 3/4 of the way up). If it is too low, it will siphon the water out of the drum. If you're not sure what height it should be at, raise the top of the pipe (ie where it bends back into the outflow pipe) above the top of the machine (if you have room) or as high as you can. It must be above the height of the drum.

Good Luck
