Question about Computers & Internet
Hello, please help me! I forgot password of Xirrus Wi-FI Array XN4. How can I reset to factory default? Thanks!!!
To reset a Xirrus Array to factory default:
Connect to the console with Putty via Serial - Setting the Baud to 115200.
Power cycle the Array and watch the boot sequence very carefully. Press Spacebar access bootloader
Use the default UN/PW: admin/admin
- You should be at an XLB> prompt
-Type 'env reset' and press enter
Array will reboot and all settings should be back to factory default.

Look at the back of the device for a tiny recessed button, sometimes red, not always, PUSH and hold until you see the lights go out or change, usually 10 seconds or so. This should reset your device to default settings. You will have to reconfigure your SSID and security settings of course.

SOURCE: asking me for wi-fi password
The wifi password is the same as wireless network key (either WPA or WEP key). That's the same password that you used when you tried to connect to the wireless network using your laptop.

If you have tried the default passwords (blank, admin or sysAdmin) and they don't work, you will need to reset it back to factory settings. You can do this by finding a hole at the back of the unit and pressing the hidden switch there for a few seconds. After that it should be back to its original configuration. You will obviously have lost any changes you made to it since you took it out of the box.

Yes, you can (and you have to ) reset your router to factory default if you forgot your password.
Here is how to do it:
Now you should be able to connect to the router.
You should have a manual. If you don't, you can get it here.
If you have any more questions, just come back here and leave a comment - I'm happy to help.
