Question about Acer Computers & Internet
How can I connect PS3 to Acer X110P Projrector - Recently bought VGA to HDMI lead but still will not run through the projector! - Been told that a VGA to HDMI Converter may/will do the trick !?! But not sure where to start - please can anyone advise?
Does the projector have an HDMI port?
i would buy the cable that is HDMI from the PS3 (unless it has HDMI already)
HDMI converter (HDMI to DVI or VGA) typically don't work well because you are changing the signal from digital to analog through a cable. you want to use a cable that is the same on both ends.

SOURCE: LCD Projector settings
Make sure the projector is connected right click on the desktop and go to personalize, display settings (vista) or properties, settings (xp). Now you should see 2 screens right click the screen with the 2 on it and click attached. Hit apply and let it refresh you should have it connected now.

you need to connect it with VGA. then enable the 2nd monitor
now you should have a wallpaper on the projector, you can drag objects to it by draging them out from the screen.
if you don't have the 2nd screen option. Then hold down the blue FN button and then tap F5 see if the picture comes, the FN + F5 will swap around with the outputs.

Here is the deal. Right-click on desktop. Choose settings. Right-click on screen #2. Click on apply for new settings. The one additional problem you may encounter is the fact that the projector will display an area to the right of your laptop screen. In other words, move your mouse past the right edge on laptop screen. Look at projector image. See your mouse?
