my screen button is greyed out on the lg 42"lcd ... i hope someone else has had the problem and knows a solution.

- hi, i tried it in componet 1 and 2 and avi 1 and 2 and it's still greyed out. i'm going to try hooking my computer up and see if it works.

- hi, the button comes up on my computer, so maybe it's only available on the computer input and the hdmi inputs.

Which "screen" button are you talking about (on the set itself, menu, etc)?

Is it this way no matter what input you are on? Try switching to each input and then going into the menu to see if it is still greyed out each time? If it stays greyed out, then you have a bad main board.
