It's very simple, open u'r case and find a jumper for reseting CMOS or just find a battery remove it for about 10 sec and put it back. Press the power button and press F10, F2 od Delete to enter in CMOS. Load default settings and save the settings. After restart you no need password.

First, its neither a microsoft problem nor a E-Machine problem. It definitely seems that you or someone else has accidently set a CMOS password, which you are not aware of. And this is the only reason why you are getting a 'Enter Current Password' prompt.

Now, let me explain to to you what we need to do. We would need to reset the CMOS Password. There are various ways to reset the CMOS Password, which requires some advanced troubleshooting steps and cannot be dictated here. Hence I would request you to call up E-Machine again and don't mentions the exact issue to them. Just tell them that you want them to help you reset the CMOS Password. Also, just in case someone might have made changes to the BIOS settings, get you BIOS settings set to default.

It would be happened due to accedently you may configured in your bios setting.

Do one thing remove your cmos battery clean it by cotton cloths or tisue paper and insert it.

Check your keyboard and mouse connection.

Fattel error comes due to lose connection or no connection of your keyboard.

It will work fine.
