Question about GE JVM1650 1000 Watts Microwave Oven
The three items I would suspect are the 20A fuse on the filter board near where the power cord comes in, the magnetron thermostat, or the oven thermostat.
If those are good, would then you have a problem on the control circuit board, which we regularly repair for customers nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in about a week with a one-year guarantee.
We have the service manual for this model and have uploaded it to our site here to help you.
You will need the free Acrobat Reader to view or print it in case you don't have it.
Accessing the oven thermostat for testing will require you to remove the oven from the wall.
If so, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.
L.G. / Goldstar owner's manuals can be downloaded here. If it doesn't show up in the search, I would call or e-mail them via the CONTACT US link at the top right.
