Could be the timer or the motor. I'd check the timer first. Hope this helps! Ella

Makes clicking noise while spinning. The noise lessens as the spin speeds up, but it doesn't spin enough to get the water out of the clothes.

Washing machine motor need tentioning when spen drying all of the water not going out

the belt is a preset size usally there is no adjustment for it make sure they gave you the right belt the belt if you are replacing it the belt mainly controls the spin fuction on the machine as well as the agitate the pump is what controls your water being removed fromthe tub hope this helps

Admiral AAV70000AWW washer makes a terrible screeching noise during the spin cycle

You more than likely have a bad drive belt. It is worn due to use. Replace.

Top load washer Admiral # AAV7000AWW

I would replace the belt part # 21352320 which cost about 20 bucks. Tilt the machine back when off and empty and look for a glazed belt with maybe some cracking and wear.
