Hello, did you try the Clear MMI function ? , it should reset all passwords if my memory is good ( and all settings like ip, language etc ... )

You can turn off department id codes from the additional functions menu but you will need to know the system manager id code to perform this. If you cannot obtain the system mgr ID code from the people you purchased it from it will require a reset done in service mode.
I might be able to help if you cannot obtain the System Manager ID code to get into the admin settings.

You will have to reset/clear the password. This WILL REMOVE all passwords setup in Dept ID Management. Go into Service mode by pressing the Additional Function key, then the 2 & 8 pressed at the same time, then Additional Function key again. Press COPIER on display, then Function ( across the top ), then CLEAR, PWD-CLR, Then Ok. You may also use the arrow keys on the display to get to PWD-CLR. Then the RESET key or maybe power down the equipment.

I see you are having issues with the ID and password of the driver from the shared printer.
It may not work since Win XP and Win 2k3 may have a different mapping language, But I believe inorder for you to save the ID and password you can always install the driver of the printer in the Win XP having the ID and password stored on the driver, then you can try to map again and see if the ID and password after mapped will be an issue.
