Unfortunately, it sounds like you'll need to return your player for exchange or send it in for repair using the warranty. Have you contacted the Warranty/Customer Service dept. at RCA? Can you return the player? They sell them at Walmart, as well as other retailers in case you're not sure where it came from (Walmart will let you exchange it as long as all the original parts and packaging are there and you have a valid Driver's license).

Time for a new player, these are not repaired.

I have an rca 5disc player and I have cd's inside and it won't open to get them out. What can I do? The button to open isn't working and neither is the remote

Not familiar with this model, but most cd players have a manual way to open them. Look on the bottom of the unit for any slot or hole where you can either turn a gear or slid a lever to unlock the tray.

Rca rs2650 tray wont open and cd wont play

Remove the CD tray the drive motor and gear is joined by a belt. I used a matching rubber band it works. Most of these drive motors. have a belt for safety. Important to replace the CD tray at the same location for line-up with your CD player drive. If you can get couple manufacturer belts do so. The belt is little tougher than the rubber band. And clean all your moving parts gently .
