Touchscreen driver for ADVENT discovery MT1804

Just upgraded from Win7 Home Premium to Win8 Pro and lost the touchscreen feature or touch keyboard. Checked Device Manager, found 2 missing Base System Devices. Did some research and learnt that I have to do a clean install. Did that, but same problem. Wonder if anyone has similar problem and hopefully someone has the driver for the touchscreen. Thanks

I want windows 7 home premium 64 bit license key

Buy Windows 7 Activation Key 64bit 32bit

Hearing all the negative sentiments toward the Windows 10 Education Product Key OS made me really cautious in upgrading from Windows 7.
Finally, my Windows 7 became buggy enough that I decided it was time for me to go ahead and upgrade.
The days of reformatting my hard drive and reinstalling Windows OS (95, 98, XP...), when the computer started to act up, are over. I got the pro upgrade version....for a really great price on http://www.Genuinewindowkey.com/ .
I purchased all my software from them. They are the best online store I ever buy.
Installation took a while, with lots of downloading and installing drivers, updates...etc.
When it was finally done, computer was running a lot faster, and all of the weird behaviors of previous installation were gone.
Now as far as using the new OS, it really wasn't that big of a deal. Yes, it's different from the previous Windows; but after 2 or 3 days, I've picked up so many cool features that I truly believe it's a superior OS compared to the previous Windows releases. Really.
The interface is quite convenient once you figure out how to use all the features and what happens when you move your cursor around the screen.
Oh, yeah, and I don't have a touchscreen. Although I'm certain that a touchscreen would definitely be a more effective way to navigate Windows 8, I really have no problems using just the mouse.
So, there you have it. I love this new OS.

Drivers can be found here:

You probably need the Network & Chipset drivers, but make sure you get the right ones for your model.

ADVENT Discovery MT1804 Desktop web cam not working

Go to Control Panel
go to device manager
Have a look down the list to see if there is an entry which has a yellow triangle containing an exclation mark next to it., see if the entry matches your webcam.
Providing that you have discovered your webcam in this list, right click on the entry and click on update drivers. Follow the prompts and see if your pc locates new drivers for the device.
If this fails, search Advent's website for drivers for your pc

Maybe IBM have some drivers but as XP is obsolete, they may not.

Operating Systems as supplied from new.
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit
Microsoft Windows Vista Business 32-bit and 64-bit
Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
Microsoft Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005

Are you using XP Tablet Edition as that edition has the drivers for the features?

I have a E-systems Sorrento 1 laptop that I use for work. It came pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium, but to get on the work netowrk, the Company IT guy put Win 7 Pro on it and lost the wide screen...

look up your computer by model and possibly serial number on the e-machines website. the same driver that worked for win7 home will work for win7 pro. really, the it guy should be able to do this himself, and has no excuse for not.

Instaling windows 7 in vaio laptop have vista orginal windows how solving the problem in instaling windows 7?

if your system came with vista originally the issue would be is you would need to know what version of vista you have on your system, the version makes the difference if you have vista home premium then your windows 7 should be a win7 Home premium as well, because if you are upgrading vista using your win7 disc and your windows version are different for example you have vista Home premium and your win7 is win7 ultimate and you do an upgrade the problem will be your product key,

but if you have a retail version of win7 and you are installing it on your laptop Vaio insert the disc in the DVD-drive win7 needs a DVD reader to be able to install win7 if you have a cd-rom it wont work, then turn the laptop off power it back up keep on tapping f12 it should bring you a boot menu, select ODD or which ever is your dvd drive then press enter then enter again if it says on the screen press any key to boot to CD, this should begin win7 installation on the screen saying windows is loading files the so on ans so fort ^_^ this will over write everything in vista but in win7 it will still create a windows.old folder from vista only from the my documents folder my picture and my music and my video and desktop Items but remember application icons will not work on win7 you may need to reinstall the program again for it to work on win7 and yeah make sure that you choose custom/advance in the selection screen do no select upgrade unless you vista and win7 are the same version eg. Vista Home premium / Win7 Home premium ^_^
