Its probably bc the glyde uses a 240x440 screen and the chocolates is smaller. also you would have to format the card for that phone for it to work on that phone. i think its like a privacy matter. if its lost or stolen then noone can view files on the card from anyother phone but that phone. youd have to get a micro sd adapter card. but be aware that if you format the card all files will be deleted and youll have to copy files back to the card.

We are having the same problem. I researched the problem online and in the Verizon Forums and we are not alone. We are on our 3rd Verizon LG Envy 3 (Sept 2011) and 2nd 16GB memory card (from ebay- both cards worked perfectly in our Blitz and Samsung Glyde)......and we still are out of luck. Verizon acts like this is the first they've heard of the Envy 3 - 4GB/8GB/16GB memory card problem. Evidently, Verizon doesn't pay any attention to their own forums. The Verizon Representative even got very irritated that we were on our 3rd Envy 3 phone (the lights would not work on the keyboard on 1st one) and that we were still calling with problems. I am in the process of filing complaints about the Verizon Rep and the Envy 3 memory card problems. Bottom line.......still looking for a fix!! The phone should recognize the sd card without you having to pull it up manually, both our Blitz and Glyde cell phones did. Oh, one more thing......the Envy 3 recognized a 1GB sd memory card but not the 4GB and above.

Is your phone on the verizon network and if so take it into the store they have software updates for those chocolates, also you can do star 228 and go through the menus to update the phones capabilities, i worked for verizon for a few years so i hope this helps the update at verizon is free so you know but takes 30-45 minutes..

Thanks,

Samsung glyde presses different buttons

If you take it back to Verizon they should give you a new phone - I guess all the older ones do this. I got mine last August and it started around January and then I took it in in March and they had to do a "software" upgrade and it took an hour. That was supposed to fix it but it continued to do the same thing. I took it in again to Verizon and they just replaced my phone. My new one seems to be fine!

Pny micro sd memory card

Most PCs are like that. I don't know what it is but the computer won't do it for mine neither. To put music and such on you sd card for your phone you must format the card while it's in your phone. Goto setting, Memory, Card memory, then click on opions. From there it will say "Format Card". Do it and the lock code is the last four digits or your phone number. After that's done to load music and such you put the sd chip onto you computer and transfer music to the folder on the sd card called "My_music", pix to "My_pix", and so on....

Music Transfer

If that phone came from Verizon, it will only play v-cast songs.  That's how they get you to buy it.  By saying it's a "music player"

if you have a card reader on your computer you can copy the pics from your memory card on your phone via the card reader. this is about the easiest way that i know. I have not seen good sync programs for this phone.
