remove the handle,, Now you don't say if its the handle or the swing spout thats hard to turn, but this will work on both , (make sure the water is turned off) remove the retaining ring that holds down the ball cover sleeve, take that off and remove the either brass or plastic ball, NOTE: be sure and keep track of the direction of the slots in the ball so it goes back in the same way, some only go in one way, its those others that will give you fits ... once thats off remove the swing spout,, Now at home depot or most hardware stores they have plumbers grease, Its Kind of tacky but clear, and usually comes in a little disc , rub that on all O rings that you can see, replace any that look pinched or worn, reassemble,, your good to go !!
