While typing the keyboard freezes up. The only way to fix is to use button below the keypad.
Plug in a USB mouse and keyboard if the problem continues, then it's a bad install or bad motherboard. If the external keyboard is fine, then it's usually a palm rest or keyboard connection problem. If this model has a nub button in the center of the keyboard, these are often problematic and can be easily removed.
