Question about Kenmore Elite HE4 Electric Dryer
Is the unit full of water or still have some water in it? if so this code is for a long drain. the drain pumps will get plugged up with lint and cause the failure code.
tip the unit back and take the bottom off. then you will see the pump. take off the hoses and also look inside the pump to see if it is plugged with lint and that will cause it to not drain completely.

Tips for a great answer:
Hello friend, that's a great question!
From my understanding your Frigidaire Affinity dryer is displaying an error code of "E64". An "E64" error code stands for the heater circuit is open. This could be a possible problem with your heater, wiring harness, or even a miscommunication within your dryer. In order to clear out any miscommunication you can perform a reset on your dryer and to do that you need to unplug the power cord for at least ten minutes. If this does not help to resolve your issue I would recommend having a professional technician out diagnose and repair your dryer to help avoid any future issues or unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt

Hello - Could the error code possibly be an EB1? If so, it is recommended for the power company to check the frequency of the incoming power to the washer. If it proves to be correct, then the main control board may need replacing.
