When I try to charge mt Ipod nothing happens it does not chirp and the battery icon does not appear on the screen and it will not dharge

could have several reasons.
The iPod is defect (not likely) the charger is defect, the cable you are using is defect, One of the connectors is defect, or perhaps only dust is in one of the connectors.
Please check the whole chain. Eventually plug the USB connector in computer, to exclude the charger. When the iPod beeps when connected to a computer, it could be the charger is defect.
When the iPod was not used for a longer time, it could tale a minute or so before the beep is heard, so give it some time in the charger and or computer.

I have an iPod 8GB i got in May 2 years ago. Over the last few months it will not charge when I plug it in. I got a new charger for it and it will charge my husbands i phone. Sometimes I can get it plugged...

Jeanette, The charger port on the iPod is most likely no longer fully connected to the internals, and it needs maintenance by a professional or just simply needs to be replaced. I would bring it to the Apple Store and have the employees at the Genius Bar look at it.

My Ipod Touch will not do anything. It won't come on or anything.

Step 1: Try connecting your device to a charger, and let it sit there for 15 minutes and it might come back on. Reason : Maybe you forgot to charge it?
Step 2: If this does not work, try connecting your iPod to your computer for 15 minutes. (your iPod might not have been charged, and you might have a faulty wall charger)
Step 3: If this does not work, it may be because you have used your iPod's battery to its fullest extent meaning it no longer holds a charge. If this happens you can either
  1. Go to the Apple Store and if it has been less than 1 year since you purchased it, you can get a free replacement
  2. Go to the Apple Store and ask for them to repair it for a fee and some waiting time.
  3. Go to the Apple Store with the iPod and buy a new one - they will take 10% off the price of your new iPod.

My ipod is not charging.. wat i going to do...

I am guessing that either you have a bad usb charger or more likely that your battery will no longer charge. You need to take it to an apple store for them to do a diagnostics on the ipod. If my guess is right, they probably will have to replace the battery for your ipod to work properly.

I have an Apple iPod nano and it won't stay

It very well could be that the battery is no longer good, as with most players you cannot replace this your self, as long as you are positive that the charger is good these have to be sent back to APPLE for battery replacement

My ipod wont turn on!

Try restarting your iPod while it's still on the charger. Hold the middle button and the menu button down for about 7 seconds (maybe a little longer). This should fix the problem.
