Seems like color is drawn out (by 2 users)

I can go to take a pic and the screen is blurred and when I take a picture that looks "ok" it is like the color is drawn out of the picture making it blurry. I have new batteries and a new xd card. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem.

Whenever my camera is on or while taking a picture, it seems to be a little bit blurry. It was never like this, and one day it just happened. I attempted to make sure all the settings are right, but I can't find my manual. Help!

Know this post is old, but it may help others with a similar problem. This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Fuji should fix this for you for free. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:

Thrck that you have the setting correctly set up
You may have inadvertently set it to Marco or Low light setting giving long exposure time.
Run through all the setting as in the manual.
If no result- contact the Fuji Tech support Team on the web address
