The computer installs the software for the mouse when I place the receiver into the USB slot; however, moving the mouse after the installation is complete does not make the mouse cursor move on the screen nor does clicking the mouse actually register as a click.

Try disconnecting the Mouse Receiver from the
USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When
the program asks you to connect the Mouse Receiver to the USB
port, do so and it should work.

go to ur control panel and click on mouse ...u may have to reset ur settings
if this not work uninstall ur mouse in add/remove.......and then reinstall software

Gearhead is known for making cheap products that have low quality. I would immediately take this product back and go with something else. Sorry, the best advice I can give..
