Unplug PC, then re-attach. Power connectors are interchangeable as long as they fit. Many power supply's don't even mark them. Meaning you can use anyone. Including any spares for later expansion.

SOURCE: DESK TOP TO WIRELESS CONNECTION

First make sure you have the correct drivers installed, go to the Belkin website to get the latest drivers for your device.

Next make sure that your router is set to broadcast, and that is in Wireless G mode. You can find that information at the router manufacturers website.

SOURCE: HOW DO I RESERT TO FACTORY SETTING MY DELL DESK TOP

Dell may have put the restore files on a separate- hidden partion as many OEMS do nowadays. When your computer boots hit alt+f10 this will boot the partition recovery. This will only work if dell have done it.

I know it works with acer laptops and desktops so give it a try and let me know

Please test your media (DVD or CD? + or -? RW or R? I prefer to use CD-R) in other computer. Probably your T600e can not read the media. Did you make bootable disc? Please recheck it.

How does P4 Connector connect to the CD Rom Drive

Hmmm, P4 is usually a designation, for a 4-pin ATX +12 Volt power cable,

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#atx12v4

I see though that they have P2 as the 4-pin ATX +12 Volt power cable, and P4 as a SMALL 4-pin Peripheral power cable,

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#floppy

This type of power cable is used on a Floppy Drive, or a Card Reader.
Not a Harddrive, or Optical Drive. (CD/DVD drive)

The Standard 4-pin Peripheral power cable, is used on an IDE (PATA) harddrive, or optical drive,

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#peripheral

Rounder corners on the Top of the plug connector.
Only plugs in, in one direction.

Owner's Manual > Page 109 -
Power Supply DC Connector Pin Assignments

P1 = 24-pin ATX main power cable,

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#atxmain24

P2 shown above - 4-pin ATX +12 Volt power cable

P3, P5, and P6 are SATA power cables,

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#sata

If you have a SATA optical drive (CD/DVD drive), the above is the power cable used.

Uses a SATA data cable,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:SATA_ports.jpg

SATA data cable connector on motherboard, is shown below the SATA data cable.

NOTE*
Color does NOT matter

Look at the back panel. you will find the audio jack. Green marked jack should be the speaker jack.

Audio jacks are located just below the USB and Lan port on the back panel of the CPU box.

My cd rom desk will not open! How can I fix this?

When you say CD-ROM doesn't open. Then i'd say check 2 ways..

Turn on the computer and let be in BIOS screen then try to open tray, if its open there is no problem in H/W part, else the issue is with CD-ROM.

If its not opening after OS boots, then you need to really try be deleting the UPPER FILTERS & LOWER FILTERS keys in registry settings.

Computer

Get the discs that came with your computer and boot off them. When your computer is on the dell screen when you first turn it on it will say something like "hit f3 for boot menu". You need to hit the button it specifies and select your cd drive. It will say press any key to boot from cd, and as you may have already guessed you want to hit any key. Then when a windows screen comes on you need to hit r and follow the onscreen instructions from there.
