Gryphon M100

We are having a problem with our Gryphon, all of a sudden it is only reading a part of the barcode, the last three symbols.
Help...I am not sure if the reader is dead or just needs some technical help.

A customer of ours seems to be having that
problem for about 1 or 2 months.
Close to our date.
I saw you are from America. We're located in Europe. I havn't seen it yet, but got told the red light / beam isn't rectangluar. Seems it more V shaped. Like at 1 end a piece is missing.
A new pc installation didn't help. We still want more information before we drive there. So we know what to take with us.
The clean the glass every now and then, so it should be clean. Wondering if it is the scanner if there is a led broken or some lose wiring or something. Then they probably need to buy a new one.
IF someone knows any other tests to try or know the solution please let me know at niels@technico.nl
