Flashing power light

The tv screen suddenly went blank and the power light started flashing....tv was unplugged for a couple of minutes and plugged back in...same results, no picture...just a red flashing power light. There were no power surges of any kind during this time or any other time to my knowledge. kelly

There is no power at all. The red light was blinking but went off and never went back on

then the blue power light alternates between blinking fast and slow like its caught in a loop. the screen lightly flashes during this time.

Power Surge

charlie the proble has something to do with the tv guide here is a response from an older post Un plug the power to the Plasma Screen and also to the Media Receiver for ten minutes. Disconnect the off the air antennas both A and B. After ten minutes plug in the plasma screen then the media receiver and turn on wi the remote control. You should now be back in operation. I was. Also It may not be a bad digital tuner. The TV Guide feature is active even when the zip code is set to all 0s so if you have an over the air antenna attached the TV will look for the TV Guide info and if it can not find it because of a weak signal or the chanel it is tuned to does not carry that information the TV thinks that tuner does not work which triggers the 12 flashes. Also on power up the gray box with the waring message "Plasma Display Starting Up, Please Wait" appears and the screen is blank.

Hello

There is something confusing the system control of your TV and it should me resetted. To reset it, just switch OFF your TV with its front panel power control switch, and after that, unplug the TV from the wall socket. Wait for about 5 minutes or so, and the plug it and switch It ON. If this does not work for the first time, give some more time to reset, say about an hour or so, and try. OK.

I have the same problem. The only way to get the TV to come on is to unplug it, but once you get it back on it turns itself off again in a few minutes.
