Question about Frigidaire ATF6000ES Front Load Washer
Hello - This particular issue can be caused by quite a few reasons. Washer could be experiencing a communication error from the main control board, faulty door lock assembly, faulty pump or the timer itself is not operating correctly. Did you notice a humming noise? If so, either the drainage hose/pump is clogged and needs to be cleaned or could possibly have another issue with the door lock assembly or pressure switch. You can also press and hold the start/pause and cancel button together at the same time for approximately 30 seconds to display an error code on the LED. What error code does it display? However, I would suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose the washer.

OK Check elec plug at motor . Mine was doing exac same thing . Take belt access panel off back and pull wire plug off motor and push back firmly on . This plug does not have a tab so vibrates off . Good luck .

You'll very likely have something caught in your drain pump. First set the washer to drain and spin. If you hear a hum or grinding noise and the water in the tub isn't draining or it's draining slowly you have something in the pump. If you take the rear panel off you'll reveal the drain pump at the right front corner or maybe middle on this model. if you empty all the water from your machine you can take off the spring clamp (this can be tricky) attaching the thick rubber hose from your tub to your drain pump. (you may want to have some old towels ready) With this off you can feel around for what's blocking the drain pump's impeller. You may want to take the screws out that secure the drain pump to the base and the other spring clamp that attaches the drain hose to the drain pump. Good luck!

sounds as if theres something stuck in your drain pump, youll need to remove the lower acess panel(2 screws across the bottom front of unit) you'll see teh pump in the rigth hand corner. i would remove as much water as possible before trying to remove the hose to the pump or you will get soaking wetaferer removig the hose youll be able tro see what trapped in oyu pump preventing free draining.. VERY common problem.DISCONNECT POWER THE DRAIN PUMP IS ALWAYS LIVE!!!!!!!!

SOURCE: Front loader will not spin
The problem is the door latch assembly. You can get it at your local parts supplier or oder it through repairclinic.com. Should cost $50-$55. My hubby is replacing mine now. Not an easy part to replace, but by all information I have gathered from the manufacturer and the parts department, this is a common problem and most likely the cause of the machine not spinning. It runs through all the rest of the cycles, but will not spin, even on spin only cycle. The good news... if you replace the door latch assembly once, the replacement part is much stronger than the original and shouldn't have to be replaced again.
