The rating of 2.0cfm continuous means that your a/c can produce that much air at certain pressure as long as it runs. It should shut off when it reaches cut-off set pressure. If it does not reach say 125-145 psi and shut off then mostl likely air is leaking from joints or piston/cylinder worn out. Spray soapy water on joints and look at top part of cylinder from under side of pump and look for scratches. If scratched, air is leaking past cyl/piston. Good luck.

There are no leaks on it. It will run up to 100psi and continue to run. So was wondering if that is normal. Now I I shut off an turn back on it will not run till I use some of the air. Is it normal at all for it to run continuous. Since it says 2.0 continuous?

This comp. I filled it up with air 3 days ago and it's still sitting on 100psi. I was lil cautious of leaving it run to see how far it goes to shut off??

If you look the the safety pop valve very carefully, you will notice a preset release pressure. The safety valve will open at the stated pressure. The pressure switch is set to open at a set pressure below the rating of the safety valve. If your compressor does not pump past 100 and there are no leaks, than most likely the pressure is leaking past the piston ring and cylinder due to wear.

I just recently purchased an air conditioner and I need some help with the installation. In the booklet it says that if you want continuous drainage that you need to have the continuous drainage hose out...

The model you have has an evaporator feature, that normally evaporates the left over condensation. However, there are times that the humidity level may be to high to handle all of the left over condensation. In which case, the pan would need to be drained. In most instances, a plastic low sided container would suffice. But, if you run the AC unit in a continual mode, there's a good chance not all the left over condensation would be evaporated. That's what the hose is for. Not sure why there are 2 of them. Generally there's only one. Anyway, the unit also will shut down automatically, if the pan gets full and needs to be emptied. It will not run until it's emptied. But, I caution you not always rely on that. Anything can go wrong when you're not at home.

Hope this helped you understand how the unit operates. If you have any more questions, call Danby's Customer Support Dept. The 800 number is in your Owner's Manual. They're good folks and will do what's necessary to help you.

Fan staying on at all times brivis tek304

this means a limit switch is open, or the thermostat is set to fan on, as opposed to "auto".
Unplug the unit, then plug it back in and watch the sequence.

If it goes through it's normal operation and then the burners shut off, it means the high limit has been triggered. usually this means the furnace is suffocating, remove your filters and try again.
If it works fine the second time you just need new filters. if not then the high limit is bad.
The high limit is inside, near the burners on the back wall connected to 2 wires.
it's easy to replace, order a new one (be sure to get the right temperature setting, it's on the old one). pull the old one out and plug the new one in. the wires don't have sides as long is one is in Common or C, and one is in NC.

If the main fan comes on first and the furnace does not cycle, it means a limit is open (or the thermostat is in fan on mode). The rest of the limits are on the same circuit as the high limit, trace that circuit and push the button on each switch along the way, if one clicks you know you've reset it... you also know that it has been set off, which implies a safety hazard and technically you should call a pro to come see it.
Anyway, continue along the circuit checking each one until you've come to the main circuit board. then plug the furnace back in and watch it go. if that hasn't fixed it, call a professional.

My PRO-SOURCE air compressor will not go over 50 psi

Your compressor has got a 'ring' problem. The rings on the pistons that compress air are leaking air by them and need to be replaced. Unless it's the 'pressure release' leaking. When it gets to 40 PSI or so, unplug it and listen for a leak. If no leak then it's the rings. inside on the piston. If you adjust the pressure switch all the way low, it might shut off near where it builds pressure to and you could at least use it some.
